“Last week while in Johannesburg, I walked pass this busy area in Johannesburg Central. I stopped and looked at the Winnie Madikizela Mandela House, the Headquarters of the EFF. I was amazed at what a Black man who everyone was sure His down and out 10 years ago could accomplish. He resurrected from the grave they thought they buried him in.
In all honesty, Julius Malema has made something by building the EFF. Many may love to hate Him but the man has built something tangible in our lifetime. IF you remember it was only in 2012 (10 years ago) when He was expelled from the ANC.
During this time(2013), SARS was after Him for a debt of 16 million to a point that we read news headlines saying “Julius Malema is penniless and homeless”. This was a time where His Sandton house was taken along with other assets. Not far from this same period South Africa made a laughing stock of this man, remember the common joke on “H and woodwork” that was throwing shade at Julius Matric results?
IF a man who is turning 41 years this year can accomplish so much after all His been through publicly, I am encouraged too that “Black man it’s possible”.
Love Him or Hate Him, Julius Malema has done what many cannot do. By the way, who owns the Luthuli House not far from the EFF Headquarters? Why is Luthuli House seemingly a sad building with not much movement yet you can see the nice round downlights beaming up the Winne Madikizela Mandela House.
As I stood in that busy area, the heart of Johannesburg. As a young Businessman who doesn’t get a cent from Government, not even the R350, I was burning inside with hope, inspired by what Julius Malema demonstrates to us. Possible in our lifetime.”
